The Swirl

The Swirl is made of twenty-six resonated anodized aluminum chimes in the key of C major and A minor, ranging in pitch from soprano to alto. The Swirl incorporates individual resonators for each chime, giving a vibrant tone. The instrument can be wall mounted.

Dim lights

One sweep across the chimes creates a wonderful wash of sound much like the strings of a Harp. Tuned to the pentatonic scale, players will continually produce new and original melodies, a fascinatingly beautiful array of unending variation. The weather-resistant anodized aluminum tubes produce a sound rich in harmonic overtones bringing cheerful music to your outdoor area.

This musical playground instrument can be wall mounted making it an excellent choice for the people who lack outdoor space. Alternatively, where a wall is not available or wall mounting is not desired the Swirl can be fixed to posts set into the ground.
