Flying Amadinda

flying-amandinda-PACE-grand-opening-pictures-005Musical bars of coated fiberglass hang between a sturdy frame made of recycled plastic posts. The Amadinda is an ancient xylophone from Uganda. Our fiberglass bars eliminate maintenance - a major design improvement. Non-resonated bars have less amplification, making them ideal for areas where sound levels are important to maintain.

The Swirl

Swirl Aluminium Chimes The Swirl is made of twenty-six resonated anodized aluminum chimes in the key of C major and A minor, ranging in pitch from soprano to alto. The Swirl incorporates individual resonators for each chime, giving a vibrant tone. The instrument can be wall mounted.

Tuned Drums These five tuned hand drums are made with replaceable plastic heads ranging from seven inches to fifteen inches in diameter. The drums can be ordered in standard or preschool heights to suit your needs. The bases of the drums can be permanently installed directly into the ground in your choice of arrangement. The drums can be painted in any combination of colors.

Contrabass Chimes

Contra_Bass3

Stunning in both their towering appearance and low resonant sound, these seven chimes are pitched one octave below middle C. The chimes range in height from seven to nine feet. They are made of four inch diameter heavyduty anodized aluminum tube and can be installed in a horseshoe shape to enable the player to experience a surround sound effect. Contrabass chimes are available to buy individually.

Spinners

The Spinner is a one of a kind instrument creation straight out of a dream. Available in two versions, alto and soprano; both are in the C major scale with the alto spinner being an octave lower than the soprano. The chimes are anodized aluminum tubes. These instruments are suspended using heavyduty stainless steel ball bearing swivels to ensure continuous smooth operation. The gentle tones and spinning motion of the Spinner create an entrancing effect.

Glass Imbarimba
Glass Imbarimba The Glass Imbarimba is a unique musical design combining the elements of two classic African instruments: the marimba (a resonated xylophone) and the kalimba (a thumb piano). These notes are arranged in the layout of the kalimba with long bars in the middle and short bars on the ends. This allows both hands equal access to the upper and lower notes. The instrument can be wall mounted or set on a sturdy stand. The bars made of fiberglass are entirely weather proof and able to withstand hard use.

Sunset on the Yantzee

The low notes of the Sunset on the Yantzee create a rich canvas of sound for the other melodic instruments to play over. The individual notes are made with two and a half inch aluminum bars that are resonated by three inch diameter tubes ranging from one foot to two and a half feet long. These low tones have remarkable projection for their size.

Pegasus Many metallophones have been used in music for hundreds of years. There are several different types used in gamelan ensembles. The Pegasus is a hefty metallophone made with twenty-three resonated aluminum bars in the key of C major and A minor. The instrument can be wall mounted or set on a sturdy stand.

Manta Ray
Manta Ray The Manta Ray is an elegant anodized aluminum metallophone with a non-rusting steel frame. The individual chime tubes are suspended by nylon coated stainless steel cable. The same scale is mirrored to the right and left sides. The range is two octaves and a fifth, the scale is C major. Playing this instrument is a delight.

Saturn's Chimes
  Saturn's ChimesThis dramatic curved array of eleven anodized aluminum chimes features warm tones with long sustain resonating harmonies from deep space. The chimes, in G major pentatonic scale, are two inch diameter tubing, ranging in length from 5 feet - 2 1/2 feet, and are supported by a stainless steel frame and coated stainless steel cables. Five feet wide and eight feet tall, this instrument makes a stunning visual and auditory addition to any outdoor area.

Harmony Park™ instruments with resonator tubes and the Tuned Drums, can be painted in one of the colors in the Color Chart. You can also select from the Rustoleum American Accents satin finishes color chart, the Krylon Fusion for plastic color chart or the Krylon OSHA paints color chart. The keys will not be painted, only the resonator tubes or drums.

We can supply powder coated 3 1/2 inch square steel support posts as an option to the 3 1/2 inch square pressure treated wood posts pictured. These steel posts can be painted and there are a variety of powder coat colors that can be used. We can match any of the RAL colors. Or you can select from the Cardinal Paint Co. powder coat color chart.
